Now in a new study conducted by Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, which was published in the Asia Pacific Journal of Clinical Nutrition, found that only one gram of turmeric a day can improve short-term memory function in those suffering from memory loss.
In their experiment, the subjects were given one gram of turmeric with an otherwise nutritionally bland breakfast of white bread. Their working memory was tested before and some hours after the meal. They found that this modest addition TURMERIC to breakfast improved the working memory over six hours.
